Michael Leonchik - one of the most famous Dulcimer who is giving concerts in Europe. He began to play the dulcimer in early childhood, taking over the baton to his father – Belarusian Dulcimer Alexander Leonchik. In 1997 he graduated from the National High School of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, and in 2002 - Belarusian State Academy of Music with Professor T.P.Sergeenko.
In 2002, M. Leonchik entered the Jazz department in the Conservatory of Richard Strauss in Munich (Germany) in the class of famous jazz pianist Leonid Chigika (and also he finished postgraduate in 2006).
Since mid-2009, he is one of the trio “Only Juzzt”.
Achievements, participation in competitions, festivals:
In 2000 M. Leonchik received the Grand Prix of the most prestigious international competition of folk music "Cup of the North" in Cherepovets (Russia).
I Prize of the International Competition of folk instruments by I.Zhinovich in 2007.

Artist has successful tours in numerous countries and foreign countries - Japan, China, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Russia, etc.

His own compositions, processing of folklore and classical works. In his creative work the improvisation takes a very large place.
